Meet the Characters
Mr. FlannelFoot
Born in 1639 Mr. FlannelFoot worked in a tin mine in Godolphin and Great Works which is an actual old mine run by the then powerful Godolphin family at the same time as the Poldark’s.
Mr. FlannelFoot got his name because he was poor. He is a jolly fellow and loves brightly coloured things and dapper attire. He’s drawn to mirrors and shiny things that return reflections. Come along on Mr. FlannelFoot’s fun journey where he’s…..lurking……moving silently and nicking things from kids who won’t go to sleep. Ok so he’s a little pilferer but he’s a nice chap, magical and he’s about today in the 21st century.
Edward
Bright red hair and a big brain. Edward wants to be something impressive when he grows up, something like a brain surgeon or an airline pilot.
Full of ideas and energy he bounces around life looking for silly things to do!
Nan
75 going on 19 Nan is a diamond and a fine lady. She sees everything deeper than anyone else through her well-worn loving eyes.
Nan has a secret about Mr. FlannelFoot and no-one else knows.
Grandad
Grandad…..well he wears the trousers but he’s not the boss. A sixth generation retired tin miner he likes to think he’s knows everything, he knows a lot but not as much as Nan but one things for sure, he loves his family as much as Nan.
